Privacy policy

Inefable Events is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through the website and the private portal. For any privacy enquiry, contact info@inefableevents.com.

This policy applies to the public website, contact forms and the private event-planning portal.

We process data to answer enquiries, prepare and provide contracted services, manage portal access, coordinate events, keep the service secure and comply with applicable legal obligations.

The portal may contain data about couples, guests, suppliers, tasks, meetings, budgets and other information needed to plan an event. Access is restricted to authorised people according to their role.

Authorised internal users may voluntarily connect their Google Calendar account. The connection is not required to use the rest of the portal, and each user can access only their own connection.

With your consent, we access basic account identity (account identifier and email address), the list of available calendars (identifier, name, time zone, primary-calendar status and access role), and event changes from the selected calendar. For those events, we retain the data needed to display and synchronise them in the portal: identifier, status, title, location, Google link, dates and times, time zone and recurrence information. Google may temporarily transmit other fields, such as the description or attendee list, during the request, but the portal does not store or display them.

Task export is optional and enabled individually. When enabled, we send the task title and due date to the chosen calendar as an all-day event, together with a private technical identifier used to maintain synchronisation. We do not send guests or private task notes.

We use this data only to display Google events in the portal calendar, keep them synchronised and export the tasks selected by the user. The refresh token is stored in encrypted form and access tokens are short-lived. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising, profiling or purposes unrelated to the integration.

Inefable Events' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Depending on the context, processing is based on your consent, performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in protecting and operating the service. You may withdraw consent for the Google connection at any time.

Providers needed to host, protect and operate the website and portal may process data under the appropriate contractual safeguards. Google receives the data needed when you connect Calendar or export a task and processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. Formspree processes contact forms. Google Analytics and Google Ads, Meta and Pinterest are enabled only when applicable and according to the relevant consent preferences. We do not disclose data to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

We use Klaro to manage consent. Conditional analytics or advertising tools are loaded only in accordance with the available consent settings. You can change your cookie preferences on the website.

When you arrive through a campaign, we may retain UTM parameters and technical attribution identifiers to understand the source of the enquiry and measure commercial performance.

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, handle the enquiry or comply with legal obligations. Google data imported into the portal is kept while the connection is active or until it is no longer required for synchronisation. Minimal technical records may be retained for as long as needed to protect the service, complete a synchronisation operation or meet legal responsibilities.

You can revoke access from your Google Account to prevent further requests. To also delete the connection, refresh token and cached events from the portal, you must disconnect Google Calendar within the portal or request deletion at info@inefableevents.com. Events already exported may remain in your Google Calendar until you delete them.

You may request access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction or portability of your data at info@inefableevents.com. If you believe the processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
